Noted distributed Aascar Ravichandran who is distributing David Billa’s
original Tamil version Billa 2 in Tamil is believed to be the reason for the postponement of the film.
Aascar Ravichandran who has bought the film at a very high price also has bough the rights of the upcoming Spiderman film in Tamil. So in order to avoid the clash of the two films that are distributed by him he is said to have pushed the release of David Billa ahead by another week.
Another way to look at this would be that the distributor wanting his film Billa 2 to have the widest release possible and without any conflict with another of his distributed film. So keeping all this things in mind it looks all confirmed that David Billa would only make it to cinemas in the first week of July i.e. on July 6.
